Hver eneste bid!
This Sunday, I was in the city most of the day. After church I couldn't make it home before going to see a ballet at 3 p.m., so I enjoyed a nice walk around the city and ate the lunch I felt like. I really do like hotdogs, so although it's a bit more expensive, I enjoyed one of those. Every single bite!
Uanset vejret!)
I also enjoyed a dessert - ice cream cone in Nyhavn. The line was very short such a cold, windy January day, so that was perfect!
(If I learned anything from my Icelandic colleagues, it is that ALL weather is ice cream weather!)
In spite of the food, I arrived early at the Opera and got to knit a bit. It's really pretty in there, and I was watching a real fairytale ballet, Sleeping Beauty, so there were a few kids there. it was really nice, although I was happy that I wasn't bringing any of those!
My knitting project was the birthday socks for my sister. They are as big a secret as ever, so here they are - in front of the red curtain - in black and white. I don't want her to guess how they look! (So pretty this year!)
Going to the Opera is fun. the ballet was so impressive and really beautiful with the most pretty dresses and costumes, and it's amazing how much you can tell a story by dancing. Actually.
I have to look through the program and see what else they are planning. I can't go there all the time, but every now and then is really fun.
