Umulige at se / Impossible to see
Da jeg lavede den anden strømpe, lavede jeg den lidt længere, og så måtte jeg lige lave tåen på nummer 1 igen. Men nu er begge, mærkelige tæer der, og jeg tror, de vil passe ham fint.
The camouflage-socks for my oldest nephew are finally done! I didn't like them that much, so they took a while. Fortunately, they joined my going to Germany this Tuesday, and during the long car ride, they destiny was sealed.
When I made the second sock, I made it slightly longer, and then I had to redo the toe on number 1. But now both weird toes are done, and I think they will fit him fine.
De er strikket på pind 2,5 mm, og vejer 95 gram. Tåen er lavet opdelt, så den passer til nogle japanske sko han har.
I found the yarn in Canada. Real camouflage-colors! I'm not sure where you could hide with these, since they are very stripey, but maybe in a pile of yarn?
I used needles size 2.5 mm, and they weight 95 grams. The toes are split, so they can be used with some Japanese shoes he's got.
I'm still working on the blanket. I was instantly reminded of how boring and slow it really is to crochet a blanket together, when I started doing it on the long rows, after the short side was done. On the other hand, it taught my to hold a crochet needle "correctly". Otherwise, it's impossible to do!
