The baby vest for our physiotherapist's baby is done. I imagined it with a small pocket with a Gryffindor-picture, but I don't think there is room for that. And the colors show the house really nice without the pocket!
The pattern is very elastic in knit/purl, and it looked kind of compact before washing it.
After a wash and a stretch, it looks more like something fit for a baby. So I'll be happy to give it to someone. The pattern was in a Dale-yarn booklet. They always use terribly small needles and an enormous amount of stitches. I used needles size 2.5 and 3 mm and cast on significantly less stitches. I had to improvise when casting off for neck and sleeves, but all went well.
I totally forgot the name of the yarn. I bought it at "Tante Grøn" Cph, it's nice sock yarn and I used a total of 50 grams. I actually started a second skein of red, since part of the 50 grams is a small roll of reinforcement yarn.
So now I just hope the baby's mother is not a Slytherin......
