Min søde, "gamle" fugl har været syg. Med nys og slattenhed og en vejrtrækning, der ind imellem lød som et af de der legetøjspivedyr.
Heldigvis gik det over i løbet af et par dage, men jeg nåede da at blive ret bekymret for det lille pus. Undulater er jo ret sarte, hvad bare forkølelser angår, og kan dø af lidt træk.
Om sygdommen så trods alt har sat sig på hjernen, kan man diskutere. Hvem ved sine fulde fem vil hænge med hovedet nedad for at spise? Ikke mig....
My very cute, "old" bird has been ill. Sneezing and seeming very tired and sick and with a breathing like one of those toy animals that squeek.
Fortunately, it passed within a few days, but I did get quite worried, although it's just a tiny bird. Budgerigars get sick very easily, especially when considering common colds, and they can die if there is a draft in the room.
Whether this disease had some kind of bad influence on a birds brain is open for discussion. Who on earth would rather eat when hanging upside down? Not me.....
