Jul! / Christmas!
Today I have been going to Christmasland!
When all the kids were in school, my brother-in-law and I drove about 1.5 km north, in order to visit the worlds biggest Christmas-shop. Nothing less.
Already when in the parking lot, we met one of the three wise men with his camel.
Inside, they counted down for Christmas (naturally).
The shop is called Bronners and it's HUGE!
It took us about 3 hours seeing everything and grabbing a bite to eat on the way. Well. Maybe we didn't see everything. After a few hours I didn't take it so seriously looking at ALL the shelves......
They had everything as glass ornaments. EVERYTHING! You could even buy a computer!
Of course I had to buy this years ornament for my sister and her family, although it's a bit early.
It was really difficult picking out something, since most things looked pretty in an odd way.
The toothbrush and toothpaste were definitely ugly, though. I feel quite sure about that! I have to live up to the earlier years, right?
This was also a thing they just need to have. It's big, heavy, glittery and just perfect!
Of course I also bought something for me. A pretty, crochet snowflake and a red-green-white prism-thing which looks kind of too much, but I'm sure it will look pretty on the tree! Anyway, I couldn't go on without it.
