SÅ lykkedes det! / Finally, I succeeded!
Det var skønt at blive hentet i lufthavnen og endelig at få tømt kufferten for slik og Anders And blade.
The next travel-day went uneventful. By all means. I passed security with my Danish liver pate, which now shifted to my carry-on bag. (It was drug-tested. You never know! Fortunately, this was not one of the ingredients......)
It was wonderful being picked up at the airport and finally emptying the suitcase for candy and Donald Duck cartoons.
I was allowed to see my nephew's amazing finger-knitting skills in action.
He has the day off from school today, and his plans called for "sitting on the couch, knitting with moster".
The part about sitting on the couch came true, but so far, I'm here with my computer, while he is playing on iPhone......
We are having such a great time!
I also had the opportunity of watching the knitted sweaters being used. Actually, all 3 kids were sweet enough to wear knitted sweaters when picking me up at the airport! As you can see, the sweater for my niece ended up the exact right size and all. I was QUITE nervous when shipping it!
We also went to Whole Foods. A VERY healthy supermarket. Where you could buy these chocolate-covered potato chips. But - WHAT'S going on?
