Succes!
Right next to Langelinie, very central and like a central station of tourist busses, lies St. Alban's Church, the Anglican church in Copenhagen. Thanks to my oldest nephew, I've actually been inside a few times by now, and yesterday, I was there again. Just outside this time.
They had their market in the park in front!
Which wasn't why I came. No - it was because he needed his birthday present that he forgot at my place, and then I could give away the pretty, pink set of clothes for his daughter.
She got exactly as happy with this as only a 2-year old girl can get! She only tried on the jacket since it was too warm, but she didn't want to take it off. Success!
They sold English specialties, like for instance pickled eggs. Which I never tasted and really don't think I have a need to taste. But I guess it's clever if you don't have a hen nearby and don't get to buy eggs very often!
Igen. Må virkelig have lidt fart på læsningen!
They also had Marmite. The mythical food that I didn't taste either and don't feel a bit need for. Or..... Maybe I could taste some of this sometime!
Instead, I bought "ginger wine", jelly babies and lottery tickets. Oh well - and a few books. Again. Must speed up my reading! This time it was used books that cost next to nothing.
I hang out with this girl. It was really lovely warm in the sunshine, and so nice. It is kind of fun with the pink period that she entered completely. Even her balloon-animal needed to be pink!
When I was leaving, the Jane Austen dancers had just started. It was so difficult leaving in the middle of this! But I had to go to get to a very nice birthday party.
The only problem left from that day is really the fact that my nephew thinks I have to watch "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies". I'm quite afraid that I have no escape from this....
Yrk!
SvarSletTak for info! Så behøver jeg ikke smage..... (Det er jeg glad for!)
