En ny oplevelse / A new experience
My niece was going home at some point - after 6.5 weeks in Denmark with family and friends. I do think she had the greatest time! I was coming with her. Looking forward to 2 weeks of warm weather after the cold-ish summer we had.
So yesterday, we packed up and got going. We enjoyed once more that we have access to the SAS lounge (with free food!) this summer, and we spent time in the tax-free shop. (She looked at all the cosmetics, while I bought some. Getting a bit worried for myself!)
It was quite a new experience traveling this far with company. Very cozy, although I'm looking forward to my next travel without a teenager..... We had the most amazing view over Greenland with all the floes in the fjord, we watched a lot of movies and had nice food, and we were very tired when arriving in Chicago around 00.30 a.m, Danish time, and had to wait there for a few hours. But it went okay, and I really enjoyed a nap on the next plane, even for just 1 hour.
Oh well - and I knit. This time a sock (very interesting!), that I didn't even finish!
At our goal we were well received and all 7-8 kilos of candy was delivered. Including yummy treats for Bailey who really loved his "candy", but didn't quite share my definition of "hygge" when "sitting" together in a chair.
Today, though, he is more social, even if he judged me to be TOO boring sitting here blogging and ignoring him. In spite of his paw on my arm and his head on my computer.
Looking forward to 2 weeks of relaxation with the family.
