Yesterday, I went to the yarn shop. I succeeded in going inside twice! There was an incredible amount of great yarn in Spun, but I really restrained myself. First time inside, I bought 2 skeins of cotton matching the green I used for my top, and of which I still have 2.5 skeins left. Second time, I found their "Crazy" yarn and bought 2 skeins of that, too..... All skeins are dyed differently! But oh wow - there was so much I would have loved to buy!
I also got my birthday present. Earrings, a fairy pumpkin, a small "Made in Michigan" tag, and this amazing ball of lace yarn in the most beautiful colors. Alpaca and silk. Yummy!
Det er strømpepar nummer 18 i år.
I finished a pair of socks for my nephew, who turns 17 soon. (SEVENTEEN!!!!) The size is quite large and I used Opal sock yarn. They weigh 90 grams! I guess I still have a skein left of all the yarn I bought in February, but I think it went quite well knitting all 7 skeins.
This is sock pair number 18 this year.
dip-dye sweater til lille Frk. T1.
Finally, I've become part of the hottest knitting trend in Denmark right now! I went to Rasmilla to have a look, and bought yarn and pattern for a dip-dye sweater for little Miss T1. It is made with Anina, and becomes soooo pretty and soft. I will make the sleeves when I get home, since I didn't bring my double-point needles, but the body will be done soon.
