After the hotdog fest, we went on through the park towards Lincoln Park Zoo - a wonderful, old, free zoo. On the way there we saw the impressive skyline and a bride and groom who picked this very background for their photos. As you can see, it was cloudy. It didn't bother us. This place is warm enough!
Inside the Zoo, we met the most active gorillas I ever saw. First, we met an adult gorilla, looking like it only wanted to sleep. This made very good sense when we reached the 2 kids who ran around and started a fight with the other one all the time. Very much like 5 year old boys.
They took really good care of the little baby-gorilla, which is seen atop one of the older kids. The baby got hugs from the bigger ones.
We didn't catch our train which rode with 2-hourly intervals on Sundays, so we ended up having dinner in town and had the most amazing view of the Trump Tower!
Big cities are always cool......
Tomorrow, we'll take the last train ride both ways and have a final look at the skyscrapers before we go back to Ann Arbor.
