Ællinger i sneen / Ducklings in the snow
The knitting-on-the-train-thing didn't go quite as planned last week, so the ducklings didn't finish in time for the weekend as expected. A movie last night helped a lot in finishing the sleeves!
It turned out really, really well, I think.
The button-holes ended up on the back-piece. THAT was a mistake! It means you can't really see the buttons well from the front, but really..... I didn't want to change it, and I guess Miss T will survive. She can't look on her own shoulder, anyway!
But next time I'll try to remember.
The buttons are so extremely cute, and it was really fun knitting another sweater based on buttons.
The ducklings are SO pretty, and all in all it ended up very balanced with the red, yellow and orange.
The chart was found here on Ravelry (where would we end up without Ravelry?).
The yarn is the DK weight wollmeise, the sweater weighs 225 grams, and I knitted it using needles size 3.25, 3.5 and 3.75 mm.
