On Friday, we took a really nice ride and saw a lot of waterfalls and beautiful places! First, we went to Sejlalandsfoss, were you can walk behind the waterfall. I got quite wet, but it was beautiful!
There are souvenir-shops eveywhere, and I made sure to take a photo of this pretty pattern! I'm sure I can use it some time.
Afterwards, we went to Dyrhólaey, a very beautiful rock and a nice place to watch the puffins! They did fly by very fast, though, so it was not easy to see them very clearly.
We also met the first staircase-challenge of the day, but it was so pretty!
After lunch, we went to Black Sand Beach, where these beautiful rocks can be found. The sand on the beach is really totally black, and the big waves are infamous for surprising people, dragging them out to the sea. Several people drowned here. Although the waves were described as "sneaky", it was easy to see how big they were.
Temmelig udfordrende!
On the way home, we also watched Skógafoss, a quite big and beautiful waterfall! You could walk to the top by a staircase, where some steps were as tall as my knees. Quite challenging!
