Fornuftigt garn / Sensible wool
A bit of yarn did come home with me from London. First the very sensible stuff! My temple flower was a hit. So much a hit, that I'm going to make one for my sister as well. I have blue Rowan felted tweed in my stash already, so I needed some lace in a similar shade. A quick Ravelry-check showed that I need well over 1000 meters, so 1 skein wasn't enough, although I thought so at first (then I ended up visiting Loop twice! The second visit was rather short.....).
In the middle it is "Scrumptious lace", bought at iKnit. Really soft! At the ends it is Madelinetosh prairie. Bought at Loop. Just as pretty and soft!
The other skeins just had to come home with me. The Noro-yarn in the blue/green/purple colors is almost sensible. It is 50% cotton and will become a baby surprise jacket. These colors will do with both genders, right? And you need cotton for a summer baby..... (I started already. It looks promising!)
The orange and yellow yarn is from Loop. So soft! And pretty! It was also completely irresistible with the pictures of the plants used for dyeing the yarn. Those 2 skeins (cashmere, baby camel, angora and merino) were definitely NOT sensible!
