I går blev noget selektivt, men bestemt hyggeligt! Først må I lige se denne fine "ambulance" til den tætte trafik i gaderne. Ret smart. (Når bare han husker at tage cykelhjelmen på, inden han rent faktisk kører. Mon ikke?)
Belinda asked, how long I'm going to be here, since I told you I was going to see "the rest"? Good question!
The good thing about London is, that you can always come back and see some more.
Yesterday, I selected a few things for a nice day. First, though, I'll show you this beautiful "ambulance" for the heavy traffic. Very clever. (As long as he puts on the bicycle helmet before riding it. I guess he does!)
For the very first time, I visited the Liberty-house. Oh my! There were all kinds of stuff from the basement to the roof. Most of the time was spent on the fabric-floor. The pricing is over-the-top, so I didn't buy anything, although temptations were everywhere. For instance this matching shirt and apron? (The shirt was almost 90£)
They also sold a kit for sewing your own panty-hoes. In Liberty-fabric, of course. It would definitely spice up your life! "Do you want to see, what I just sewed?"
I rode the bus! It's really nice sitting there with the fine view, seeing a bit more of London than what is possible from the underground.
Finally, I went to the yarn shops. Both Loop and Iknit London. Of course I was wearing my temple flower, since the weather was perfect for this.
The concept of bar and yarn shop is just perfect. I really think so! It is so nice sitting there, drinking cider and knitting, while looking and wondering what it is that you just can't live without.
Why does this not exist in Denmark?
Tonight I'm going home. Today it's raining, so I guess it will be museum and shopping today. Totally fine. It has been really nice with 3 days without having to think about work for even a minute, sleeping long hours and taking it easy!
