Godmorgen Bornholm! / Good morning Bornholm!
I aftes tog vi op til Hammer Fyr og "strikkede solen ned". I februar var jeg jo i Myanmar, og i Bagan så vi "Verdens flotteste solnedgang". I går blev den så lige trumfet.
Bornholm is wonderful! Yesterday I took a plane over here, and it is a kind of magic that just by 30 minutes of transportation from Copenhagen, and you are in such an amazing spot! Furthermore, I was picked up at the airport and driven to the coziest summer house with lovely company, so you won't hear any complaints from me.
Last night we went to the "Hammer" lighthouse and "knit the sun down". In February I went to Myanmar, and in Bagan we saw "The world's prettiest sunset". Last night that one was beaten.
We held the gift-game. with ONLY good stuff in the packages, and I had - - - - - - - - sock yarn! I guess it will be used, since I'm 4 pairs behind........
I dag skal jeg på workshop om to-ende-strikning, den der mærkelige svenske teknik som det aldrig er lykkedes mig at få plads på på Fanø. Bagefter er der dømt hygge og afslapning med en tur rundt om Hammerknuden.
Today is morning-coffee on the terrace. In bright sunshine with the view of rocks and the sea. Not the worst place to write a blog-post.
Today I'll be going to a workshop about two-end-knitting, the weird Swedish technique which I never succeeded in joining a workshop on when on Fanø. Afterwards it's all about "hygge" and relaxation with a walk around the "Hammerknude" - the top part of Bornholm.
(And just look at the milk...... I'm straight back to my childhood and vacations here!)
