Søndag gik turen rundt i København for at se lidt mere.
This Sunday, the day went buy getting the most out of the last bits of Copenhagen. Last year, I saw so many photos on facebook of the cherry-tree lined road on Bispebjerg Cemetery, and this year, I wanted to see them myself!
The day ended up with us visiting quite a few cemeteries, actually.
First, we passed Assistens Cemetery and checked on Hans Christian Andersen, Søren Kierkegaard and a few more, like Tsarina Dagmars courtiers and French soldiers after the first world war.
That place is always so exciting!
Going on, we passed the Jewish cemetery, which happened to be open. So we had to see that as well!
It was really interesting - especially since they put up small plates telling what those buried there had accomplished.
Finally, we arrived at Bispebjerg and walked all the way to the farthest corner to see the flowers.
Fortunately, it was worth it!
There were a lot of people, but even more flowers. A selfie was kind of needed.......
The rest of the day went by with the little mermaid and the "Kastel". We never got around to visiting a castle, but it was still very nice.
Now Morgana has traveled on. It was such a nice visit!

SletSo nice! Wow . . I hadn't realized, but of course Kierkegaard is buried by you!!!! That's very exciting for me as his writings were important to me when I first read them in college. They still are :) His leap of faith is the cornerstone of life, in a way . . yes?
SvarSletYes, he was Danish. We are still proud of him :-)
SletHe was a great philosopher.
Men helt vildt koldt.....
