Yesterday, it was time for one of the great December-traditions. Going to Tivoli to watch "Crazy Christmas Cabaret"! I think it was my 10th time watching it, and it was as fun as always.
I'm always going with a choir-friend from a long way back. We always try to do this if we can!
There was a crowd of people waiting in line outside Tivoli, and the lights were just beautiful.
First, we had dinner at "Grøften". Also a tradition. The next table had some exceptionel coffee, which we also wanted. "Greenlandic coffee"! I never tried that before, but it was so impressive with the burning Grand Manier being poured into the coffee, and it was delicious. You could taste a bit of coffee in all the booze and whipped cream......
The lights in Tivoli were so pretty, and in this very situation, I was happy that Denmark is so dark right now! In all other situations it's annoying. Dark when you get to work, dark when you go back home again.
Jeg løb også ind i Dorthe. Virkelig hyggeligt at møde folk "rigtigt"!
The show was incredibly fun. My favorite was the Icelandic viking - definitely since i have so many Icelandic colleagues right now!
I also ran into Dorthe. So nice meeting people "for real"!
Today it's time for another tradition - Christmas get-together with my nephews and nieces. I'm going to make a lot of æbleskiver, and I'm expecting a slightly chaotic but very nice day.
