May the Force be with you
It took a few tries, but it turned out right! The sweater was done yesterday after a day of intense sewing of ends and sleeves. It is worth the trouble, if you ask me.
I'm really happy that I re-did it from the rib-edge up, because it would have ended up too small.
Fortunately, it got done before I leave for home, and it was just great to give it away myself and see how he liked it!
Mønstrene fandt jeg bl.a. her.
He is very happy with it, and it fits perfectly!
It actually took less than 2 weeks to make it, due to all the traveling and my vacation. The sleeves were made on the plane. Otherwise it wouldn't have been so quick!
A few facts? Made in the DK weight wollmeise, using needles size 3.5, 3.75 and 4 mm. What I had brought. It weighs 460 grams.
The patterns were found partly here.
The number of stitches were found in another pattern (before adjusting the number!), and the shape is very basic. Nothing peculiar.
Before using the sewing machine and cutting open for sleeves, we had a bonus picture. He is fun!
