Vi er klar! / We are ready!
The time is 5.57 am here in Ann Arbor. In just 3 minutes, the kids are allowed to get up and get their presents. The house is quiet, so I think they will sleep a bit longer. It REALLY was difficult falling asleep last night!
The decorations are in place, and looks nice from the outside.
Christmas Eve was as long as always. We went to the movies to watch the new Star Wars movie - it's great that my youngest nephew can watch the same as everyone else!
In the evening, we went to church. They held the children's 5 minutes even though it was Christmas, and it was such a nice and cozy service. (And we sang "Jeg er så glad hver julekvæld" - in English!)
Afterwards, they did marzipan. This guy was the only one who wanted to help, actually. (Well, the dog too. But it wasn't allowed!) Teenagers are not into this kind of stuff......
I'm still knitting on the sweater, and only have a small bit left. I feel very sure that it will be able to stay when I leave!
Well. The time says 6.08 am. When will they ever wake up?
