Vi havde en glimrende udsigt i flyet. Helt utroligt flot, faktisk!
Less than 12 hours after my niece arrived, we left again. We had been looking so much forward to this! She was eager to visit London for the first time, I was happy to be seeing the city again and then together with her.
We had a splendid view from the plain. Incredibly beautiful, actually!
Nå. Men det er hyggeligt, og helt utroligt med busser, taxaer og Union Jacks!
The entire first day was spent shopping. We took the walk down Oxford Street. It is so crowded! The culture is exactly the opposite of the US, where you can't touch strangers, so there was quite a bit of (gentle) pushing. I do believe my niece touched more people on the streets yesterday than she touched during a year in the US!
Well. But it is nice, and incredible with all the busses, taxis and Union Jacks!
Efter mange butikker og spekulationer fandt hun et par Nike-sandaler som hun MÅTTE eje. De er faktisk også fede, men jeg havde ikke tænkt at hun skulle finde dem i Liberty-butikken!
After many shops and speculations, she found Nike-sandals that she just NEEDED. They are quite cool, but I never guessed she would end up finding them in the Liberty-shop!
After seeing the M&M's world, our feet were totally flat, and we went back to the hotel (on our teeny-tiny room!) and watched food-shows the rest of the evening. Now we're ready for another day.
