En stille aften / A quiet evening
Kender I iøvrigt det her strikkeblad?
It has been kind of hard starting work again with jetlag and so on, and this week, I have 7 days of work in a row. I do feel like the blog is suffering a bit from my lack of exciting stuff. You know - outside of work! Lots and lots of stuff happening there. I've been in the hospital for almost a year, and I do think my Swedish is working quite well. That feels good! Don't feel the need to move there yet, though.
By the way - do you know this knitting magazine? I'm not quite sure whether it's Finnish or Swedish. The patterns are in Swedish and quite nice, so if you stumble across it, I can recommend it.
The next pair of socks is coming up. My youngest nephew turns 11, and this time, he'll get something a bit more fun than just ribbing. I found left-overs in blue and green.
He almost broke my heart saying "Moster? (Auntie) Isn't it much easier bringing the gift yourself rather than mailing it?" He would really love for me to come for his birthday, and at some point I want to plan it. Just not this year. This year is Fanø! I'm looking so much forward to it!
Then I found a skein of green (darker in real life) and thought that maybe a pair like his sister's could look great. Now that the boy almost only wears camouflage?
He should get cold toes if I have something to say......
