I aftes blev det anderledes. Jeg cyklede forbi mit nye yndlingssted, der denne gang var med sejlbåd!
It is surprisingly easy to miss summer. At work I'm inside all day (and sometimes I get very surprised finding that the sun is shining and it's actually warm when I'm off for the day!) and at home I can always find something to read/clean/knit/do with my ipad.
Last night was different. I biked to my new favorite place, and this time I saw a sail boat!
My journey continued along the the water, going to the highway-bridge where you can actually bike across. Pretty cool!
Across the water, I rode alongside Hvidovre beach. (Yes, Hvidovre does have a beach!) It was anything but big, but the water was lovely and I really missed my bathing suit. But it was wonderful just dipping the toes!
Bagefter drejede jeg til venstre og kørte op langs vandet, denne gang på Islands Brygge-siden. Så smukt!
Afterwards I took the same ride again. I wanted to go to Tivoli to hear Sting perform. So back along the harbor and across the railway-bridge I biked, and got to see the prettiest sunset as a bonus!
When on Amager, I turned left this time and rode along the water, this time at the same side as Islands Brygge. So pretty!
I Tivoli var der sort af mennesker. Man kunne ikke se så meget som Stings hår (han har da stadig noget, ikke?), men hvad gjorde det, når jeg kunne høre musikken med denne udsigt?
Tivoli was crowded with people. I couldn't even see Sting's hair (he still has some left, doesn't he?), but it didn't matter when I could hear the music while having this view!
In total, I rode 28 kilometers. I'm very pleased with myself! Today the sun is shining from behind the clouds, but I still do think that my bike and I need a bit more summer! (The knitting will come.) Happy Sunday!
