It was easy going to Krakow. I did have to get up very early and fly by Vienna, but for lunch I had already found the hotel, relaxed a bit, and had this view from the restaurant......
Today I only saw a tiny bit. It was so insanely warm! But I went down to the river, where the Wawel-castle is, and where this pretty statue-head of king Casimir (I wonder if his beard was very soft? Sounds almost like cashmere, doesn't it?)
You can rise way up in the air with a hot air balloon for a nice view.
They even have a dragon! And it breathes fire! (sometimes)
The castle was closed today, but I saw the cathedral in which an incredible amount of kings are buried. It was very impressive and beautiful.
I also saw this sign! UWAGA! Sounds a bit scary, don't you think? You may also think it has something to do with robots...... (Life is so much more fun if you don't understand Polish!)
As I said - insanely warm! This water hose was a giant hit, and they surely got very wet, the poor kids. Tomorrow it should be a little cooler.
