For at undgå flere skandaler, forstås.
Well, but here I am. In Madrid! It's my third time in Spain, but the first time in Madrid.
When I was ordering my travel, I had to do it through a travel agency. To avoid more scandals, you know.
This meant for me to find a hotel with a lady on the phone, who didn't know Madrid either. None of us had any idea (or time to investigate) where staying in Madrid would be nice! So my one demand was that I didn't want to end up "some place sinister". (Well. Suddenly, you live in a cheap hotel in the Red Light District, right?)
Due to all of this, it was funny finding my hotel (in a back yard) and seeing the hall on my floor looking like this! If this is not kind of sinister, I don't know what to call it.....
The room is really great, though. Nice bed and a wonderful chair. Oh well - and the possibility of having breakfast for only 15 €. A day. As if!
Not me! I love my oatmeal and refuse to pay that much in order to eat that! So I bought some cheap müsli and have that with milk. Maybe even a cup of Starbucks coffee. Works well with me!
The sunrise was beautiful. The view from the 12th floor is nice!
The hospital is very nice and big, and the course is great. Even though I had to knit a little in order to stay awake for the last talks. Fortunately, we learn practical stuff too!
When the course ends for the day, the sun sets. Yesterday, I decided to walk back to the hotel. Just to move around a bit and see a little bit of Madrid! The map said 6.7 km. It took me 2 hours, and my legs got quite sore. I wonder what I feel like tonight! But my exercise-conscience is good!
