You'll get a bit more Disneyland today. This time was a totally new experience for me, when I learned how the ultimately most important thing is the PRINCESSES!
She actually thought Disneyland would be filled with princesses and their surroundings from movies, which is not quite the case.
The first day, we passed "Princess Pavilion", and I must have been hit by a very quick little cerebral hemorrhage, because I thought 1) Strange - I've never been in there before! and 2) Well, I think it's just a 20 minutes queue. Which was when I mis-read the sign, since it ALWAYS takes 90 minutes.
So it took 2 hours before we met Belle, but although it almost felt like I had withered inside while I waited, the 5-year old was overjoyed!
So next day, we did it again. Fortunately, this time it only took 1 hour to find Aurora, who fortunately was wearing her pink dress (because clearly it the most beautiful one!) and gave out hugs.
But by now, I'm TOTALLY sure why I never went inside before!
But it wasn't only the princesses spreading love. Prins Philip (the prince from Aurora) was recognized immediately in the parade, where he was fighting dragons. Often, the Disney prinses don't have very characteristic faces, so maybe he was mostly recognized on the dragons?
ALLE prinsesser var med i paraden. I skal nok slippe for at se dem allesammen, men her får I lige Askepot og hendes prins i deres vogn. En ret god film, synes jeg. Både tegnet og med rigtige mennesker.
ALL the princesses joined the parade. You don't have to see all of them, but here you'll see Cinderella and her prince in their carriage. A really great movie, if you ask me. Both as a cartoon and made with real people.
I actually think that she wouldn't mind living with for instance Snow White and her prince.....
Her 2 year old baby sister is also smitten with the princess fever, which is kind of cute.
For my own part, I don't think Disneyland will ever be the same again......
Oss' mig!"
