The sewing machine was working several hours yesterday. Before I got the pants started, I sewed something else. Sometime during the summer I bought some fabric in a sale and had plans of sewing a skirt, but never really made it. Yesterday I did. I used 6 squares, cut them in half and formed them to be wide at the bottom (about 10 inches) and about 6 inches at the top. Then I sewed all of them together, made it double at the top and put in some elastic and then I had a summer-skirt. In order to make it as long as possible, I used some other fabric for the top and the bottom-edge. It's really nice to wear and goes just beyond my knees. Not rocket-science, but nice for a warm day!
The pants were quickly made. Also with elastic and pockets. They are SUPER comfy to wear! Maybe not highest fashion, but for 86 degrees fahrenheit in which I need to be decently dressed, I think I'll just love them. Now I just to need one or more pairs.
