Nuttet / Cute
Det var flot at se sne og is, og f.eks. her ved Vejle Fjord broen kunne man tydeligt se, at Danmark har ligget i dybfryseren en god uges tid!
Yesterday was a day off from work. So of course I went on a train ride. To Jutland. (How on earth can I visit people when I'm working?)
It was quite a sight seeing the ice and snow, for instance here at the Vejle Fjord bridge, where it became very clear how Denmark was in the freezer for a bit more than a week!
I went to visit my niece and little baby I, since I had the possibility. She is a real wool-baby, and when I first saw her, she looked like this. Sleeping soundly, nicely and warm. I am not the only one knitting for her - her grandmother knit the sleeping sack, and it is just a stroke of genius.
Her aunt knit the blanket, which is used all the time, and furthermore, she had the prettiest little Norwegian mittens, knit by her mother's friend.
She is extremely cute, this baby. (Of course she also got extra points from wearing the dress I knit for her.) I loved spending the day with the family, and I do think I've become quite good at train rides. My knitting, an audio book and even a bit of work, and then the train ride is a child's game. (But these next days, I don't plan for THAT many hours on a train.)
