Every year, I think it's over because everybody grew so old, but some years I still get to have a "gækkebrev", a Danish tradition where you send a beautifully cut letter with a poem (usually) and your name in dots and a snowdrop (a "Vintergæk" in Danish). The recipient gets until Easter - if they guess your name, you owe them an Easter egg. If they cannot guess it, they are obliged to give you an Easter egg as a prize.
So this mysterious letter came a few days ago in my letterbox. It was for "auntie Christine". With 6 dots. And with drawings that fit nicely with the fact that those who could have send it and have 6 letter names both are 3 years old. So now I bought a few more Easter eggs when going back from work yesterday. It's really exciting now if anyone remembers to call me and reveal themselves, or if I get to eat the eggs myself......
