Today I had my walk along the river. What a walk! It was snowing like crazy, but it is a little nice walking in the snow, isn't it? It took me around 30-45 minutes to walk to Lower Manhattan, just like planned. The towers were hardly visible due to the clouds.
I was going to see the 9/11 Memorial center. After walking around in the snow, and then standing in line for them to open, it didn't felt nice having to take off the wet coat and open the wet bag for security check, and then having to go around outside afterwards when I put on the coat again....... (By then I was even wetter.)
It was really pretty, though, I just had enough snow!
Trods alt en dejlig dag i New York!
This is the new tower. Looking good. I left rather quickly and got a little lost. Took a detour (= more snow!) and finally found the bookstore I needed so badly!
Instead of the planned (and payed) 2-hours walk around Harlem, I was just sitting in Barnes and Nobles, read books, drank coffee and tried to get dry. After all a nice day in New York!
