Last Sunday I went to the big health exhibition here in Copenhagen, playing a doctor. Unfortunately that didn't mean I was given a ride in the helicopter (WHY couldn't I try the helicopter????), but instead I was in the children's corner.
It was fun! We played treatment of children with pneumonia. I was very nice and explaining and careful for the first hour, but you sort of grow tired of explaining so much after a while..... I changed bed and teamed up with a new nurse, who also had a vivid imagination, and so we started our new treatments!
We gave blood from an ice-bear and gasoline, and the children looked so very sick before they received our amazing treatment! They were told to go home and eat chocolate eggs to get well, which they seemed fairly happy about. It was fun! (And they knew we were just playing.) How much will you learn anyway from spending 10 minutes playing in a giant hall filled with people?
Here at home I'm really enjoying my days off. The dinner tasted great last night, even though the lamb turned purple from the marinade before cooking. I'm knitting like crazy - I want this done before Easter has ended! I'm still in love with the color.....
