En garnbutik mere / Another yarn shop
Vi kom hen til sådan en typisk gade her. Det er ikke ligefrem nemt at finde rundt!
Yesterday, we went to a yarn shop again. This time, the shop was recommended by a colleague here from the mountain, and I would even get a discount because of her! (Her name is Christine. Beautiful name.)
We arrived at a typical street like this one. This is not an easy city to find your way in!
Heldigvis gik vi lidt længere ind ad gangen og fandt garnbutikken. De ligger virkelig nogle sjove steder her i Hong Kong!
We entered a small hallway and found a tiny elevator which took us to the 4th floor. To a tattoo shop!
Fortunately, we continued deeper into the hallway and found the yarn shop. They are located some very strange places here in Hong Kong!
There was a lot of yarn! Nothing Chinese, but they did have Japanese yarn, and that is also very exotic! People are not thrilled when I asked for Chinese yarn, so I give up. Hong Kong is not looking forward to going back to China again. It is pretty obvious.
It's so amazing having a family who wants to take the time finding yarn shops and who are willing to wait! They did get to wait, since I also had to look through the pattern books......
I bought Japanese sock yarn, since my niece REALLY would like a pair of socks like that, and then I bought a bit more.
I also get to knit a little. All the bits are done for the sweater for little Miss T1. I just need to sew the second sleeve, and then both sleeves should be sewn on, and I need to sew the ends. It is ever so boring, but it will get done! Soon!
