Last Wednesday, I was in Helsingborg. With my work. Afterwards, I went searching - and found! - the nicest yarn shop with a lovely owner, "Tant Thea", located not too far from the harbor and the station. Outside, there is yarn bombing, and the sign does not leave any doubt that the lady inside really likes knitting!
Inside, there is plenty of yarn. Plenty! I do think that this shop holds only yummy yarn, and most of it is also incredibly soft and in nice colors.
Did I happen to buy anything? Oh yes! There were a few birthday presents I could use as an excuse, and I did buy a small skein for myself!
Would I like to come back? Yes! But I guess it's good for my economy and my lack of more space for stash, that I'm not working close by.......
Afterwards, I took the ferry back to Denmark. I don't think I sailed this ferry since I was a kid, and it was SO nice. If there is something you can spend a bit of vacation on in Denmark, it's sailing a ferry here and there. Often short trips, always incredibly nice.
This time it was between Sweden and Denmark, though. It was beautiful sailing towards Helsingør, seeing Kronborg, but it was by no means a faster way to get home. But it felt a bit like vacation! (And there was tax-free shopping during the 20 minutes of sailing!)
