Det må jeg se at få strikket af allerede her i vinter. Til MIG!
I bought some incredibly nice yarn in Hong Kong, even though I couldn't get hold of anything Chinese. In the first yarn shop, I found some bran new Noro-yarn called "Transit Fine". It is a mix of everything soft: wool, silk, cashmere, angora, alpaca, mohair and camel. No kidding. It doesn't get better than this!
I will have to knit this already this winter. Something for ME!
Dette er økologisk, japansk bomuldsgarn. Nok til en lille sparkedragt til baby D. For hun skal da have noget tøsefarvet også!
This is ecological, Japanese cotton. Enough to make a romper for baby D. She needs something with girly colors too!
I also bought Japanese sock yarn. My niece was convinced that she would be so much happier if I am to make rainbow-colored socks for her birthday, and then I bought a few extra skeins.....
This yarn is Italian, but I CAN'T pass very thin, multi-colored yarn without buying some! I just can't! There are two green-blue skeins and two rainbow-colored skeins. Man, it's so soft!
Det var vist godt, jeg ikke kom i flere garnbutikker, for så havde jeg ikke nøjes med det her.
I also found some Japanese knitting/crochet patterns. 3 books of fun baby-patterns, a very interesting knitting book were everything is knitted in any direction but the normal, and finally, Vivian Høxbro's star-pattern book, which did come in Danish recently, but I have regretted not buying it in Chicago.
I guess it's good I didn't visit any more yarn shops, because then I would have bought so much more.
