Varme bukser / Warm pants
This guy, little L, grew out of his tiger pants. Long ago. His big sister had a pair of knitted pants that she used all winter, but I don't think this young person should walk around in pink pants. (I'm kind of sensitive that way)
De her bukser kan ellers nemt føles uendelige at strikke på pind 2,5 og 3.
So I found the beautiful, green skein of Wollmeise, which I saved. It's a test color, but pretty, if you ask me. Then, in between all the other projects, I've been knitting on the train and at a meeting these past few days, and suddenly, things sped up!
Exactly these pants have the power to feel never-ending using needles size 2.5 and 3 mm.
As usual, I didn't follow the pattern completely. Small kids don't sit still very long, and I really don't trust a rib edge with width, so I made them with the same number of stitches in the ribbed part as in the stockinette part, instead of casting on extra stitches like the pattern says.
It works really well, and the long ribbed part makes sure they stay up.
And then I can be happy that I did something to help prevent a frozen butt.......
The pants weighs 120 grams in size 1 year, and the pattern is this one.
