Afslapning / Relaxing
Time passes with relaxation here. We do a little every day, and I admire my youngest nephew when he swims, when he plays computer-games and when he is sorting his Pokémon cards. (Right now, he is sleeping on a mattress beside my bed.) He is so old by now, that I'm not allowed to upload his photos on the internet without permission. Wow!
This Tuesday, we went to the Huron River, "tubing" down the little waterfalls. It was a very, very slow thing, since I got "stuck" all the time, outside the current. But a lot of fun! I also got some serious blue spots from paddling, but that's how it goes.
Yesterday, we went to the river again, and had lunch looking at this view. So beautiful!
Our entertainment was the ever hungry dog trying to steal the bread from the 11 year old, but unfortunately without success.
I also knitted a little bit. The dress is really showing progress, and is turning out really pretty, although it lasted forEVER knitting the skirt. At least twice the amount of time expected!
Fortunately, the size looks very good, and it doesn't look as big as I was afraid.
I started some socks, and the baby blanket grew a little.
And then I met a groundhog! This little guy wasn't the least scared (very unusual), but sat around nicely for a few photos. Isn't he just cute?
