verdens bedste doughnuts". Intet mindre!
Going home from camping in Michigan, we drove through Clare, a small town that you'll probably never get to visit. We did, since we wanted to try "the world's best doughnuts". Nothing less!
While we sat there, enjoying our enormous (and actually very delicious!) doughnuts, and the less amazing coffee, I caught eye of a - well - yarn shop! Just across the street!
Since I had one of the smaller doughnuts and finished quite quickly, I had time to cross the street and check out the Apple Tree Lane.
It's some kind of shop! First thing inside was different souvenirs and then an incredible amount of glass ornaments! There were so many different kinds, and if I had studied them a little better, I would probably have bought some, since I love glass ornaments! (But then I already have enough for at least 2 trees at home, so it might be good I didn't buy any.)
There was yarn as well. PLENTY of yarn! The very friendly owner was ever so dedicated and a very good sales person. She talked and explained, which was really nice, but also very dangerous for my wallet!
In the end, I found some very delicious alpaca-yarn (not too much) and bought that. I didn't dare look at everything, because when you know how easily I get lured into buying stuff, it would have ended up totally, horribly wrong!
Anyway. IF you should pass by Clare some time, do have a look. You won't regret it!
