Spun, Ann Arbor
For Christmas, I had a gift card to "Spun", the lovely Ann Arbor yarn shop. Of course I was going to use it, and I actually succeeded in going there ALL by myself!
Of course this meant that took the time to look at everything. And feel most of the stuff. It was hard passing by the section of Malabrigo "Dos Tierras", which I used for my Ravello sweater. It is so yummy! There were so many colors.
This knitted model also took some of my time. I found different combinations of multi-colored pink or red yarn with some different contrast-colors for edges.
In the end, I felt convinced that I would probably not use a pink sweater a whole lot. Although the color is really cool!
I remembered the really pretty yarn that I found at the beginning of my tour, so I went back and bought it. The blue shades are SO pretty, and this yarn is definitely going to be for me.
This should be enough for a sweater en stocking stitch. (I would like to make another "Hexagon".)
crazy" garn.
Oh well - and then I just needed a bit more "crazy" yarn. It is so much fun! All in all, it was the perfect result of my first yarnshopping this year!
