Jeg har glædet mig til det her / I've been looking forward to this
Men i går røg det!
I've been SO fed up with the giant beech in my garden. You could say a lot of good stuff about a beautiful beech, but when it takes up half my garden, cast a lot of shadow, throw leaves everywhere and just takes up so much space that the desired cherry tree can't be there, I have to admit that I'm really angry with it.
But yesterday, it went down!
It was actually just felled, and then it was lying there, filling everything. It did actually take up less space than I thought, once it lay there, but still it filled the garden from side to side but didn't get near my terrace, which I actually had been expecting. No branches needed cutting before it was felled.
After a surprisingly short time, the garden looked totally different and more airy!
Of course, I didn't waste time, but immediately went to the garden center close by and bought first mulch and then a small cherry tree.
I planted it according to all the rules I could find, and so now it stands out there in the garden. I really do hope it enjoys my garden and I'm looking forward to seeing some leaves in the spring.
Oh, how I have been waiting for this cherry tree!
