A while ago, I stumbled across this pattern via a detour on Instagram. It was too cute! It was in the middle of the warm summer, and just perfect, so in no time I had bought it and got it in my mail box.
It was my first sewing pattern by mail, and I do think it is a lot of work. Printing out all the pages, using sticky tape to connect them before I could even transfer them. Any time I would prefer the old-fashioned way! But once I passed that first test, it went well. The description is really good and has photos of everything.
At the back, the suspenders are crossed.
The last test of my patience was sewing on SIX buttons. But I did want them done, so I could take them to little D yesterday, and I did think the suspenders were a bit long.
And here she is! In her new rompers! The suspenders were STILL too long. Her mum would move some buttons, and I do hope she can use them. They are sooooo cute, you know......
