On te 23rd, I took the train to Aarhus after work. It went really smooth! For once, I left my job on time, and I even had time for dinner at the central station. The trainride was nice. I had time to listen to music, knit and sleep a bit, and I didn't arrive too late.
So yesterday, I got to remember just HOW long a day can be on the 24th, when all you are waiting for is gifts! We started the day by going to church, and since both parents had practical jobs, I got to watch especially this little guy. It was so nice! And fortunately, he forgot just how much he screamed when he saw me in the morning that day.......
De her to piger var mægtigt spændte. Hele dagen!
There was a giant Christmas tree! Here the girls are, showing a beautiful heart on the tree. I did my very best to fix their hair, but it's so thin and smooth that within minutes, the hair was a complete mess again.
These two girls were mighty excited. All day!
Hundehvalpe!
Once we were back home, there were suddenly two gifts under the tree. Puppies!
Christmas Eve was just perfect with a lovely roast goose, too much dessert, kids who just couldn't contain themselves due to the excitement and had to open a few gifts early, and other adults who actually also gave and had presents. I've never seen that many gifts under a tree before!
So - thank you for a wonderful evening, Ann Sophie! I just loved spending the evening with you!
❤️
