Besøg / Visit

I går var sidste dag med min nevø og svoger på besøg. Vi fik hygget os rigtig meget! Der var tid til at købe morgenbrød, drikke kaffe og derefter tage ind til byen til henholdsvis Faraos Cigarer og Royal Copenhagen (gæt selv hvem af de to som ville hvad!)

Vi købte bolsjer, mødte niecen og hendes veninde (på besøg fra USA) og så gik vi i Tivoli!

Yesterday was the last day with my nephew and brother-in-law visiting. We had a really nice time! Time for buying breakfast, drink coffee and then go into town to check out Faraos Cigarer and Royal Copenhagen, respectively. (Guess which each of them picked!

We bought hard candy, met up with my niece and her friend (visiting from the US) and went to Tivoli!

Min nevø har virkelig nydt at se sine søskende! Han har nået over til sin bror på Bornholm og har set sin søster nogle gange her i København. Det er virkelig hyggeligt at se de to sammen!!!!!

My nephew really enjoyed seeing his siblings! He got to visit his brother at Bornholm and has met his sister a few times here in Copenhagen. It is so nice seeing those two together!!!!

I Tivoli skulle de selvfølgelig prøve ting. Jeg følte mig derimod så gammel at jeg faktisk bare trængte til at sidde og drikke noget koldt og strikke. Det var virkelig skønt! Tivoli garden kom forbi et par gange og det var bare rigtig godt vejr og dejligt at sidde der. 

In Tivoli, they wanted to try some rides, of course! I, on the contrary, felt so old that I actually just needed to sit, drink something cold and knit. It was really so nice! The Tivoli boys marching band passed a few times, and the weather was just so nice. It was lovely sitting there. 

Niecen fik billeder af sin far og bror, og så tog vi tre hjem til Tårnby og brugte aftenen på deres pakning og bare at være sammen. 

My niece got photos of her dad and brother, and then we three went back to Tårnby and spent the evening on their packing stuff and just hanging out. 

I morges fik jeg så fornøjelsen af at se solopgang da de skulle til lufthavnen. 

Nu er de snart på vej til USA. Jeg er så glad for at de kunne bo her - det er jo en af fordelene med et hus! - og glæder mig til at se dem igen til sommer. 

So this morning I had the pleasure of watching the sun rise when they were leaving for the airport. 

Now they are on their way to the US. I am so happy they could stay here - it is one of the advantages with a house! - and I'm looking forward to seeing them again this summer.
