Kunsten at holde sig vågen / The art of staying awake
So yesterday morning she landed, my niece, and we found each other at the airport after a bit of confusion. You are NOT allowed to enter unless you are flying, and I realized that she actually is adult now, since my request for entering and waiting for my 18 year old niece was met with a total lack of understanding......
The day passed with keeping her awake until bedtime, and she got to cut the grass, for instance!
The socks were approved and tried on. I just have to say that she pulled them down a bit herself. They do stay up on the leg otherwise.....
The plan last night was take-away, and she had pizza with sallad. Apparently a very Danish speciality that was enjoyed to the max!
She stayed awake until just before 8 p.m., which was well worked, since she had been awake for 28 hours by then.
Today, the early morning started with a slight fog. We will enjoy the expected sunny day by painting the shed. Well - you need to paint when it's dry, and preferably, she should stay her on my ground (apart from when we go for walks were there are no one else, which is also fine.).
I just love these days with sun before the rain and cold returns!
