Lille og sød / Tiny and cute
I opskriften var ørerne og halen kontrastfarve. Jeg syntes ørerne skulle være grå. Men halen? Den ligner halen på en rotte. Meget sød alligevel.
The tiny elephant suddenly got done. Once the body was done, it didn't take long making the legs and ears and tail, and suddenly it was SO exciting getting it all done to see how it turned out!
In the pattern, the ears and tail was a contrast color. I thought the ears should be grey. But the tail? It looks like a rat's tail. But still very cute.
The poor elephant has a totally asymmetrical face. Either it has torticollis (tight muscles of the neck) or it was stuck in a very weird way on the way out! We pediatricians do care a lot about how kids look, actually. If stuff is looking weird and such. So I should actually be a bit better at making a nice, symmetrical face, really!
But then it's SO CUTE!!!!!!!
The eyes are crocheted and just black. Elephants have so tiny eyes that you can't see anything else anyway. Everything was made in cotton on a very tiny needle. It took 35 grams of yarn in total.
We'll see when this guy gets to move away from home.......
