Tilbageblik / Looking back
Hold op, det var hyggeligt! Udsigten fra mit vindue i mit (totalt spartanske) rum var intet mindre end fantastisk!
I love having my phone as a camera, and it is really nice with facebook, when the daily memories pop up from the same day earlier years. Right now, I get photos from Israel almost every day, since I was there 2 years ago.
It was so nice! The view from my window in my (really almost empty) room was nothing short of amazing!
Some days, I bought freshly made pita bread and ate them with tuna, egg, tomato and red bell pepper. I never had pita bread this delicious in Denmark! Of course there was a lot of yummy food - for instance in the hospital canteen, where I ate a few times a week. SO good!
Sådan en måned, hvor man bare kan lære og nyde og kigge er virkelig guld værd! Det er dejligt at tænke tilbage på. (Selv om jeg ikke fik strikket så forfærdeligt meget den måned.....)
During the weekends, I went around to look at stuff. For instance, I found Oskar Schindler's tomb. "The unforgettable lifesaver", who saved 1200 Jews from the nazis, because they worked at his factory. (I also saw his factory. The only time in his life when he actually had some kind of success, was when he was saving lives. Otherwise, he didn't do that well. It is thought-provoking.)
A month like that, when you can learn and enjoy and gaze is worth more than gold! I love thinking back on it. (Although I didn't really knit a lot that month.....)
